Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Movie

Maybe it's just me, but are these movies getting more forgetable? I mean the books were so fabuluous but it seems that the movies are getting progressively worse.

Who are they making these movies for? The fans are disappointed because so much is being left out, while those who haven't read the books are completely lost. Nothing is explained. You are just supposed to know what's going on.

I mean, why leave out so many characters? Why condense the plot to the point that people are falling asleep?

At this point, I am really worried about the next two movies. Since the last book dragged some in the middle, how will splitting it into two movies work?

Am I the only one who feels this way?

Interesting. . .I actually thought this one was the best of the bunch. I thought the first two were the worst.

I'm glad I found someone else who feels the way I do. I feel like this movie had nothing to do with the book at all except for character names. However, everything I read is commending it for not being a scene by scene shoot of the book. I don't understand the point of making a book into a movie if you're going to change everything. I was pretty disappointed. So much was left out in order to add things that weren't in the book.

In terms of books to movies, I thought this was a nice adaption. They took the main points and scenes and placed them in familiar settings. Yes, things were changed, but it's bound to happen. When you're dealing with the same story but in different mediums, there are going to be changes.

It seems like the reaction has been really divided. I'm looking forward to seeing it!

The most recent Harry Potter movies aren't that good anymore especially since most of the young characters got older now.... There was a certain cuteness to Harry Potter before that appealed more to kids... I doubt if its still there.
